Hi all long time no talk.... anyway my car has been on a serious downhill slide starting at SIM last year, after that fiasco the car was p[retty much parked till i got back to work in july. On that very same morning my tie rod breaks. Upon changing both i attempted to get an alignment wich took me about 2 weeks to find a place that could get my car onto a lift. When i did find a place i dicovered both upper and lower balljoints on both sides of the front end are so bad that they can't align the car. So basically i've been driving with a toe issue since then.

Then there was my headunit that just stopped working one day and never worked again. Now i have a tape deck in and a $3,000 system that i'm bypassing.

More recently now i get a horrible grinding sound when i turn hard left (not to the lock but parking angles) sounds like i'm dragging on the pavement (i'm not tho). if you hang out around mini truckers you know the sound i mean. had the wheels off over the weekend, no sign of what's causing that.

Now about a week ago i was getting ready to pull out of my garage to go to work and the car just quit running, and refused to start till about 5 min later. It's done that 4 more times since then, including once yesterday and twice today. It only seems to do it at idle. It's not a vaccum leak i've had that happen at least twice. just shuts off like i turned the key off and then won't start for a bit...

Anyway that's my sob story... anyone got any ideas?

Hello everyone, the weekly forecast shows sun and mid 40's all week so i'm pretty happy to not see any snow in the near future. I know we'll probably get blasted with one more storm so I won't get too excited. as long as I don't see my car look like this again this year i'll be happy.




it's still half buried and that was a week ago. I hope this weeks weather will melt most of it away so I can get in it to at least start it up. anyone else get any pics from the east coast snow storm last week?

So I took a trip to the junk yard this weekend and I got

a 3.0l intake tube, going to make my own intake

a new fender ( even got the same color)

a new radio surround, the fo-carbonfiber look

and all this crap for the autostick conversion

Required parts:
1. AutoStick TCM (transmission control module)
2. AutoStick Shifter (left and right motion w/ Autostick module)
3. AutoStick Instrument Cluster (P R N D 1234) - picture here
4. Connector and wire to connect shifter and TCM and provide power/ground.
Optional parts:
1. AutoStick Shifter Bezel (to replace P R N D 3 L) - picture here
2. AutoStick Shifter Boot (larger leather boot, not vinyl)


got it all for 65$ at a u pull it yard !!!

SCORE FOR ME!!!!!!

Now i just need to get my car back from the mechanic to install!!!

Hey all just wanted to say thanks to all the guys that posted to my thread about the suspension setup
for my car, I ended up going with the dropzone springs and the monroe matic plus struts yeah I know
there not the greatest struts out there but they will work for me since I more of a cruiser type.
Also wanted to share some pics of the ride and all the work that has been put into the car over the

Hello all. As the topic states, im new to the forum. I recently aquired the Breeze stated in my info as a daily driver to help keep the miles low on my current antique DD, a 1985 Honda Civic CRX 1500. As far as the Breeze, it has the 2.0L with the electronic auto trany (not exactly sure of the engine/trany codes on this platform). With the 2.0, it has the typical issues... Burns oil like a diesel, leaks engine oil like a Ford 300 CI inline six cylender and the common ignition coil faliure. Then theres the front end... It was wrecked in '99 and many of the parts were replaced with Neon parts including the brake rotors and calipers.
Other than that, its in fairly decent shape for a 12 year sedan out in the rust belt
Anyway, looking forward to years of technical advice (both giving and receiving).

my dc outlet plug stopped working today in my 00 stratus i do not know why. Where can i locate the fuse on my car if applicable

Hello everyone, I've been reading through the site for a while and decided to sign up. I have a 2002 Stratus sedan, I've owned it for about a year now and Im finally gonna start workin on it. First things first, I have to do the brakes and rotors. Im gonna be ordering Royalty Cross Drilled rotors sometime next week and I might just hit up autozone for the pads. front Thanks to the snow we've been having, theres a crack in my front bumper. So, Im thinking about getting the Vis "Battle Z" front bumper. Not too sure on that yet, dont want to make the car look ricey. What do u guys think about that bumper? Other then that, a custom cat-back from the local shop and an SRI from ebay with an hks style filter from jgy are down the road. If guys have any suggestions or ideas just let me know.

.. im also confused on my car, its a 1997 Stratus ES, however it has a 2.4 DOHC. From my reading i thought the ES came with the 3.0?

Also if it is a amp under my seat, where is the CD player becuase the Radio only has am/fm/tape, however there is an option for CD , at least there is a CD button
